BIOGRAPHY
Annalisa Palmieri born in Barletta, Italy is a Dancer, Choreographer and Videographer based in Essen, Germany.
She graduated at Folkwang Universität der Künste, Institut für Zeitgenössischen Tanz, Essen, in 2019.
During her studies she had the chance to work with Sita Ostheimer in "Spieces Pitches" and Julio Cesar Iglesias Ungo in "This horse you cannot ride".
In 2019 Annalisa choreographed her solo "Der Fremde" created in the frame of Junge Choreographen at Folkwang Universität der Künste. With "Der Fremde", she got invited to "Explosive Festival", Bremen, Germany in 2019 and Azioni in Danza, Koreoproject, Barletta, Italy in 2020.
Annalisa worked as Guest Dancer for the Staatstheater Braunschweig in the production "B-boys don't cry" (2019).
Shortly after she started working for the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch in "Blaubart. Beim Anhören einer Tonbandaufnahme von Béla Bartóks Oper „Herzog Blaubarts Burg“, which was performed in 2020 at the Opernhaus, Wuppertal and Sadler's Wells Theater, London.
From June 2020 Annalisa started working in the production of short dance films. "Vale Of Shadows", is her first work as Director and Choreographer.
The short dance movie, supported by Kulturamt Essen, is a co-production with the dancer and choreographer Stsiapan
Hurski and the composer Marco Girardin.
In December 2020, Annalisa choreographed and directed "Was noch bleibt", her second short dance movie, danced by Mariane Verbecq.
Currently working as dancer in the dance piece "Zugvögel", choreographed by Rainer Behr, member of the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch.
